The Four Styles of Muay Thai

In Muay Thai Fighter, you choose one of four authentic fighting styles at the start of your career. Each style reflects a real tradition in Muay Thai and gives your fighter unique stat bonuses that shape your gameplay throughout the game.

🥊 Muay Mat — The Heavy Hitter

Muay Mat fighters are aggressive punchers who overwhelm opponents with power. Historically, fighters like Sagat Petchyindee epitomized this style. Bonuses: +2 Strength, +1 Speed. Best for: Players who like aggressive, high-damage gameplay.

🦵 Muay Femur — The Technician

Muay Femur is the art of technical fighting. These fighters use distance, timing, and precision. Samart Payakaroon is perhaps the greatest Muay Femur fighter ever. Bonuses: +2 Technique, +1 Defense. Best for: Players who prefer strategic, calculated fighting.

🦿 Muay Khao — The Knee Fighter

Muay Khao fighters specialize in the clinch, using devastating knee strikes at close range. Dieselnoi Chor Thanasukarn was the ultimate Muay Khao fighter. Bonuses: +1 Strength, +2 Defense. Best for: Players who like clinch fighting and durability.

🦶 Muay Tae — The Kicker

Muay Tae fighters rely on powerful, precise kicks. The roundhouse kick is their signature weapon. Yodsanklai Fairtex was a legendary Muay Tae fighter. Bonuses: +1 Technique, +2 Speed. Best for: Players who want speed and devastating kicks.

Which Style Should You Choose?

There's no "best" style — each one is viable throughout the entire game. Your style choice affects your starting stats but you can train all stats equally regardless of style. Consider your preferred playstyle: do you want to hit hard (Mat), fight smart (Femur), dominate close range (Khao), or strike from distance (Tae)?
